Inner Family Systems with Mary Steege
Have you ever felt happy and sad at the same time? Wanted to do something and not wanted to in the same moment? If so, then you have experienced what Internal Family Systems calls the sub-personalities that we all have inside. Each has its own perspective, interests, memories and viewpoints, and sometimes they are in harmony but sometimes they conflict with one another. IFS believes that every “part” has an important role to play and can be productive and healthy. They can also take on extreme roles when traumatized. With love, acceptance, and some good communication between those parts, they can all come into healthy relationship inside ourselves. This episode will focus on how Internal Family Systems combined with Christian spirituality can bring deep healing.
