Beyond ACE (Adverse Childhood Experiences) -- Crittenton Foundation webinar

Beyond ACE (Adverse Childhood Experiences) -- Crittenton Foundation webinar

January 13, 3 - 4:15 pm ET

Join presenters Dr. Roy Wade, National Crittenton Foundation President Jeannette Pai-Espinosa, and National Crittenton Foundation Vice-President Jesse Domingo Salu as they highlight the findings of a 2014 ACEs survey at 18 Crittenton agencies in 16 states.

We now know more than ever about the negative impact of childhood adversity and the related trauma that results from exposure. We have also seen firsthand the incredible resiliency, courage and healing of which girls and young women are capable. It is clear that simultaneously supporting parents to heal from their own childhood adversities, while ensuring that their children get the best start possible in life, is a most powerful two-generation strategy.

Join The National Crittenton Foundation (TNCF) and Ascend at the Aspen Institute for Beyond ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences), a webinar that will also cover the use of well-being questions, piloted by seven of these Crittenton agencies, in the domains of connection, coping and stress. Finally, the webinar will include an orientation to the ACEs Toolkit for Providers.
