About the Summit
The Central Iowa ACEs 360 Coalition invites you to a day dedicated to taking action in response to Adverse Childhood Experiences to improve Iowans' health and well-being. The summit will bring together more than 500 attendees focused on building resilience in individuals, families and communities. The summit is a call to action to the findings shared in the latest Iowa ACEs report released July 2016.

Resilience ScreeningDirector James Redford’s powerful documentary, Resilience, examines the impact of trauma during childhood and innovative community-led responses. The hour-long film moves beyond the Paper Tigers film to give a call to action. | Washington's ResponseTheresa Barilla, co-founder of the Children’s Resilience Initiative in Walla Walla, Washington, will talk about her community's effort to build capacity within various partner agencies to have a unified approach to responding to ACEs. | Your ResponseInteractive sessions and discussions will give you an opportunity to learn from emerging response strategies in Iowa and to develop your response to ACEs in your personal and professional life. |
