Join certified trainer, Lulu Vernueil, LICSW for 4-hour training will be focused on Art with Heart's curriculum and therapeutic activity book developed for elementary-aged kids called Draw It Out (DIO). Draw it Out is a therapeutic activity book for elementary-aged kids experiencing complex and confusing emotions. Draw It Out provides a creative vehicle for developing a visual and verbal vocabulary for loss, as well as a supportive structure to teach social and emotional learning (SEL) strategies while building resilience. During this training, you will explore the DIO curriculum through a few art activities, discussion, and implementation that will have you set up to use our resources with kids right away.
