Call to Action for Faith Leaders to Highlight the Need for Increased Access to Treatment

You're Invited,   The White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) cordially invites you to join an important phone call. A "Call to Action for Faith Leaders to Highlight the Need for Increased Access to Treatment." This important discussion will take place on Friday, July 8th from 2:30-3:15pm EST.

Faith groups play an essential role in supporting health and wellness in communities across the country; and have a demonstrated history of providing spiritual, social, and emotional assistance for men and women struggling with substance use disorders. Thus, ONDCP Director Michael Botticelli will join faith leaders in highlighting the need for resources to expand access to treatment in local communities across the country.

Please register for this event here.

You will be able to share questions when you register, and participants will also respond to live questions during the call. Please share this invitation with other faith leaders who are interested in supporting treatment access for individuals with substance use disorders.

ONDCP hopes you can join the Director and faith leaders on this important phone call to discuss how we can work together to make America healthier and safer for all.

Sincerely, White House Office of National Drug Control Policy

Hello!

I wonder if someone could send me the link to the video about the report to Congress - May 25th, 2016, I believe - on trauma?

I know that the hearing was scheduled, and I feel like I saw a video, but I've been away for several weeks, and can't seem to find it in my VAST collection of awesome ACEs Connection material.

THANK YOU!

I'm creating an online course on an Intro to the Trauma Informed approach, and during the week we are studying trauma and its impact on systems, I think I'd like the students to start by watching that video - if it exists.

THANKS!
