August 7 & August 14, 2013, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Training conducted by Master’s level clinicians of The Children’s Center

This program is conducted by our Masters level clinicians who have completed comprehensive trauma training provided by The National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN),who work exclusively with children in foster care.

The goals are to educate welfare professionals about the impact of trauma on the development and behavior of children, when and how to intervene directly in a trauma-sensitive manner, and to assure that all children have access to timely, quality, and effective trauma-focused intervention, and a case planning process that supports resilience in long-term healing and recovery.
