The Campaign for Trauma-Informed Policy and Practice (CTIPP) hosts Community Advocacy Network (CAN) calls on the third Wednesday of every month from 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. ET, and they are free and open to everyone. MEETING GOALS:
Educate about how resilience and trauma science are being leveraged at federal, state, tribal, and local levels
Discuss what science has taught us about the causes and effects of trauma and toxic stress across the lifespan
Propose and advocate for trauma-informed policies and programs
Build support for the national trauma-informed movement
Collect information and stories from individuals, communities, states, agencies, and organizations participating in relevant work
Provide free professional development opportunities relevant to the resilience- and trauma-informed movement
