Workers in social service agencies today are confronted often  – both directly and indirectly – with  trauma and sometimes danger, thus producing the potential for secondary traumatic stress (STS).

This full-day workshop will help participants clearly assess personal stressors and challenges and expand their understanding of health and wellness in order to take a proactive approach to enhancing stress management skills, improving overall health, and reducing professional ‘burnout’ and/or secondary traumatic stress  – in themselves and with their workers.
