The Family Focused Treatment Association (FFTA) hosts the only annual conference on treatment family care. This year's conference, Bringing Resilience Home, will be held virtually for the first time. The conference will feature 40 workshops on a variety of topics highlighting interventions that are being used in family focused treatment homes. A number of workshops will showcase strategies and practices to heal trauma and promote resilience in families caring for children and youth who have experienced out-of-home placements, abuse, or neglect.
Workshop topics of relevance to ACEs work include trauma transformation, the trauma of racism and discrimination, trauma-informed supervision, approaches to working with CSEC victims, attachment issues and complex trauma, and more. All sessions will be recorded and accessible to participants 30 days post-conference.
