Toxic stress can result from abuse, neglect, household dysfunction, or other trauma, and without adequate adult support, may adversely impact the development of a child's brain and stress response systems.

During this webinar, we will focus on defining toxic stress; its connection to health care, public health, and public safety; and next steps to increase prevention and mitigate the impact of toxic stress on children.
