It is well established that people with histories of trauma receive worse healthcare. This makes clear communication even more important, and - often - it means preparing for a doctor's appointment in advance. Wouldn't it be helpful to have tools and templates to help do this? To better understand how to express your needs in a way that a doctor can readily take in and respond to?
We’re happy to announce that our online pilot course, Frustrated with your healthcare? Three strategies to get better care, is officially open for enrollment!
If you or someone you know wants to learn to communicate more effectively with their busy healthcare providers, we invite you and those you connect with to become one of our first students.

Between August 2 and September 23rd, we'll provide five engaging 90-minute online meetings plus one 30-minute one-on-one coaching call. Women who participate in this pilot will learn to:
- Communicate their concerns in a way their doctor can take in, understand, and respond to.
- Be better prepared for their appointments, so their doctor has more time to look for underlying causes of symptoms.
- Feel more confident in their appointments, which signals to their doctor that they’re not just looking for a quick fix.
Think about how expensive the direct and indirect costs of fatigue and health concerns are for so many women. What are these symptoms really costing you and those you connect to? This course will provide a framework to make the most of every appointment with doctors, saving time, money, and frustration.
This pilot is limited to 20 women. Working with a small group of women with fatigue and other health concerns, who are as motivated as possible, will help ensure that everyone has a valuable, transformative experience.
Registration is open through Friday, July 29th, or until we fill the 20 spots.
