In the new world of integrated health, how can you demonstrate your viability as a behavioral health provider? Join Pam Pietruszewski and Jake Bowling for a webinar to learn more about the Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) model, an evidence-based prevention and early intervention protocol.

During this webinar, participants will:
  • Learn how and why SBIRT can be an integral part of integration – rationale for supporting financially and operationally to establish buy-in
  • Understand the continuum of substance use and statistics on SBIRT effectiveness
  • Identify evidence-based screening tools to determine alcohol and drug harmful use risk levels.
  • Learn an overview of motivational interviewing and stages of change for guiding behavior change through brief interventions
  • Understand referral and follow-up best practices to enhance accountability and engagement
  • Gain implementation strategies for making SBIRT operational by enhancing workflows and best practices.
