Mindful Movement is a children's yoga class created to encourage healthy attachment, stress management, and emotional self-regulation through strategies including mindfulness, meditation, emotional literacy and yoga. The class is designed for preschool age children. Preschoolers in yoga! Yes and they love it. We use creative songs and music to get little people moving, we use books and story telling to build sensory awareness and emotional literacy and we laugh and play.
Mindfulness can be embrace at an early age. This fun high energy class shares tools and techniques that can be used to calm and focus our attention on the present moment.
