Traditionally the concept of “trauma-informed” has meant educating teachers and school staff about trauma, toxic stress, and their impact on student’s capacity to learn and regulation of their behaviors. This webinar will extend this concept to include educating the students, at both the elementary and high school levels, in the same topics. We need to engage students as collaborators, not merely recipients, in the process of transforming our schools into trauma sensitive spaces.
