Miss Kendra Programs - Helping Kids with Fears of the Visible and Invisible

The fear of returning to school is very real and relevant for many children across the country this fall. The new adjustment to in-person learning can be concerning for students leaving the comfort of their homes for the first time in months, while the idea of staying at home for an undetermined amount of time can cause fear in others.

The pandemic has created visible actions of masks and gloves, hand sanitizer and video meetings, but the true perpetrator remains unseen. Instead, children are told other people are potentially dangerous to them. How have our children been experiencing these threats, and how will they manage them when they return to school this fall?

In this month's Ask Every Child webinar presented by Miss Kendra Programs, we will be discussing fears of visible and invisible threats, and how we can help students through another new adjustment.

Join David Read Johnson PhD, chief executive officer, Hadar Lubin MD, chief medical officer, Cat Davis MA, MBA, chief program officer as they discuss what some new approaches may look like in the fall.

Participants are encouraged to send in questions ahead of time on the registration form, as the panel will be fielding questions throughout this webinar.
