Organized By: National Council for Community Behavioral Healthcare
Sometimes you just have to step outside the box — way outside — to fix a problem. The Children’s Resilience Initiative of Walla Walla, Washington, is doing just that through its Resilience Trumps ACEs program. CRI has created a truly groundbreaking model of community mobilization to understand and respond to adverse childhood experiences.
With significant support from the Gates Foundation, CRI has taken a strengths-based approach to creating a thriving community by building resilience in individuals and families. This is a model that all communities involved in building healthcare neighborhoods can learn from — join the webinar to learn how.
Speakers: Teri Barila, MS, Coordinator, Walla Walla County Community Network; Mark Brown, PhD, Executive Director, Friends of Children of Walla Walla
