Whether you have experienced sexual abuse in your family, your tribe, your faith community, your school, the military, in sports, your workplace, or elsewhere, we welcome you and those who support you. This event will provide a space for survivors of all genders to join together in lifting the veil of secrecy and shame. By bringing the issues of sexual abuse and assault out from the shadows, we hope to create an opening for increased awareness and recognition that healing is possible. Open to survivors of sexual abuse and assault of all genders, as well as those who support them Our agenda will include: Hope and resilience on many fronts Art and Music Prayer: Sault Tribe Introduction from Taking Back Ourselves Carolee Tran PhD, author of the book, Gifts of Adversity: Reflections of a Psychologist, Refugee, and a Survivor of Sexual Abuse Special performance and presentation from Alumni Survivors on the gifts and challenges of recovery Spoken Word by RISEUP, the TBO Cohort on Racial Equity and Justice for Survivors RESOURCES and SUPPORT This is a free webinar; advance registration required.
