This intermediate training is sponsored by the Los Angeles Child Guidance Clinic's Early Intervention Training Institute. Dr. Vincent Felitti will share results from the CDC's Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) Study to inform policy makers and practitioners about the long-term impact of trauma on health and risk behavior.

Dr. Connie Lillas will review the physiological symptoms of stress and trauma in early childhood and provide evidence for strategies to help build protective factors and enhance resilience to trauma early on.

Participants will also take part in the Los Angeles Child Guidance Clinic’s annual awards luncheon.
