The DISC personality system measures four primary personality types: D, i, S, and C. Each type has different strengths, weaknesses, and motivations that help explain how we interact with others and our environment in the workplace, personal relationships, and as professionals helping others to navigate through their journey of transformation.
Fathers and Families Coalition of America's training offers more than the "standard DiSC assessment and training" with the incorporation of using the 8-Dimensions of DiSC and added benefit of the 15-Behavioral Building Blocks of Success with the 10-Mortars of Support.
Classes are fun and challenging, yes, there are even "take away" (aka homework) assignments, as well as, one-on-one unpacking of each person's personality profile. We include the Emotional Intelligence assessment at the end of the course to bring it all together. The FFCA Model takes each of us through a journey of understanding our strengths, weaknesses, adaptive vs. natural states, behavioral tendencies, and styles, with the drivers of our emotions and thoughts to be better selves, professionals, parents, friends to self, and others.

What is DiSC?
- Several personality assessments, such as the Five-Factor Model and the Myers-Briggs test, show connections between personality descriptors and how our personality impacts relationships. The DiSC Model has well over forty years of analysis on its validity across the four quadrants of this personality assessment, including:
- The D (Dominance) style is active and questioning. This quadrant describes direct, forceful, and outspoken people with their opinions.
- The i (Influence) style is active and accepting. This quadrant describes people who are outgoing, enthusiastic, and lively.
- The S (Steadiness) style is thoughtful and accepting. This quadrant describes gentle, accommodating, and patient with other mistakes.
- The C (Conscientiousness) style is thoughtful and questioning. This quadrant describes people who are analytical, reserved, and precise.
