Sched.org Conference Mobile Apps for Pathways to Resilience III: Beyond Nature vs. Nurture [Halifax, Nova Scotia]

The Centre’s Co-Directors, Michael Ungar and Linda Liebenberg, along with their partners in more than 20 countries, invite you to an international gathering to explore the theme “Pathways to Resilience: Beyond Nature vs. Nurture”, at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia.

The conference will explore many different aspects of resilience, and how the theory is informing research, practice and policy on a global level. For more information, see the conference brochure.Building from the first two highly attended conferences in 2005 and 2010, Beyond Nature vs. Nurture will encourage discussions that examine the protective and promotive processes associated with resilience around the world, as well as how to design clinical interventions, human service systems and social policies that contribute to sustaining resilience. The event begins with pre-conference workshops on June 16th, followed by the main event which welcomes an international roster of keynote and plenary speakers, including Ann Masten, Catherine Panter-Brick, and Joop de Jong. Click here to register.
