Seeking Safety Training

The California Endowment Center for Healthy Communities

Echo Parenting & Education is very excited about this training because it marks the beginning of our relationship with Lisa Najavits (the developer of the program) as her training partners for Southern California.

If you don't know about this program, you will want to. It is brilliant. Seeking Safety focuses on the first stage of trauma healing - safety. Lisa has developed a second program, "Creating Change," which focuses on the second stage: remembrance and mourning. We will be previewing Creating Change at our conference (March 5 & 6, 2015) and then hosting a full day training on April 20th, 2015.

The Seeking Safety training costs $200, which includes the training manual. Lunch is available at The California Endowment's subsidized cafeteria. The trainer will be Gabriella Grant, of the Center of Excellence for Trauma-Informed Care, who has been a very popular speaker at our conferences and for good reason: She's dynamite!

Spaces are limited, so please register on our website (echoparenting.org). If you have more questions, please direct them to Glenda Linares at glinares@echoparenting.org.
