Let's give each other the gift of being Present, face to face, as we're learning how much that means for human beings to develop most fully. Last time on Nov. 1, we all wanted more time to share our personal histories of how we became interested in ACE issues, and what we'd like to accomplish next.
For me, I'd like to see what everyone thinks of this idea: exploring the "log in our own eyes" so we can really give our 100% to removing the "mote from our brothers' eyes."
We need not be born in poverty or violence, or suffer overt, know-able sexual or physical abuse, to have severe ACE damage. I tally myself at 3 ACEs: verbal abuse, emotional neglect, and a "Borderline" mom: http://attachmentdisorderhealing.com/Mommy-Doesnt/
