This webinar from the Center for the Study of Social Policy (CSSP) will explore how racism permeates the social ecology of children's and families' lives through the lens of a new infographic from CSSP, and what it looks like to implement anti-racist strategies, policies, and practices as individuals, in organizations, and at the community and societal levels. Dr. Charlyn Harper Browne and Cailin O'Connor will draw from CSSP's anti-racist intersectional frame and explore how Strengthening Families can be implemented as an anti-racist approach to work with families. Following the presentation, we will have time for participants to discuss and share their reflections on the content as well as thoughts about how to apply these ideas in their work.
We will also hear about other new resources and opportunities from CSSP and the Children's Trust Fund Alliance.
Our networking webinars are held the second Thursday of every month. Calls begin at 10 AM (HI) / 11 AM (AK) / 12 Noon (PST) / 1 PM (MST) / 2 PM (CST) / 3 PM (EST). For our colleagues in Guam, this is 6 AM Friday.
