The Children’s Resilience Initiative is a local effort in Walla Walla, WA, involving many partners working together to increase the awareness of ACEs and the power of resilience to heal and help children thrive.

This presentation will take place from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. Eastern time, Thursday, June 28.

Teri Barila, coordinator of the Walla Walla County Community Network and Mark Brown, executive director of Friends of Children of Walla Walla will review ACEs, brain development and resilience, and will highlight one community’s collective effort to put research into practice.

Through this webinar, participants will learn how the Children’s Resilience Initiative strives to transform how
people parent and how we can circumvent negative experiences – as individuals and as a community – to help
children survive and thrive.
