The Resilience Toolkit for Recovery

The Resilience Toolkit for Recovery

Do you find yourself repeating harmful behaviors, overwhelmed by feelings, or stuck with repetitive thoughts? Do you feel plateaued in your recovery or desire a deeper level of healing? Join us for The Resilience Toolkit for Recovery and discover how developing a personal resilience practice can help you in your recovery process.

The Resilience Toolkit is an accessible and inclusive system for reducing stress and increasing resilience in individuals and groups. This 3-part introduction to The Toolkit specifically addresses the unique concerns of people seeking or practicing recovery from substance or behavioral addictions.

Considering the unique role stress plays in compulsive behaviors, this workshop empowers you with The Toolkit’s suite of simple practices that encourage relaxation, embodiment, and self-agency. Over time, Toolkit users feel more relaxed and capable of meeting the ups and downs of life.

The Resilience Toolkit offers an entirely new framework for personal healing and can be used independently or as a complement to any existing program of recovery.

In this workshop you will:

  • Discover how current and historical stress affects the lives of people struggling with addiction and/or compulsive behaviors.
  • Develop an embodied awareness of personal stress and relaxation responses
  • Cultivate strategies to replace potentially harmful comfort-seeking behaviors with simple tools that regulate the nervous system
  • Begin a regular practice of The Resilience Toolkit to build internal resources and external resilience over time.

There is no abstinence requirement to attend this class.
