This presentation will open with a review of an exploratory study that suggests the prevalence of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) may be higher among social service providers than the general public. A presentation on the Sanctuary Model®, a trauma-informed organizational intervention that addresses this issue will follow. The leader of ANDRUS, the organizational home of the Sanctuary Institute, will discuss “lessons learned” based on his experience implementing the model as well as consulting other organizations on implementation.
