Traumatic experiences, including homelessness, often have a significant impact on family well-being and a child's development. How can we tailor our approach to working with families and children to foster healing and minimize re-traumatization? How can we take what we know about trauma theory and operationalize it in our daily interactions and programmatic approaches? During this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to apply an understanding of trauma to their work as individuals, teams, and organizations. Co-sponsored by the People's Emergency Center. Instructors: Kathleen Guarino, LMHC and Katie Volk, MA. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at (617) 467-6014 or info@thinkt3.com.
