AVP is one of the most powerful violence prevention and trauma recoveryΒ programs going. It is working in over 50 countries, 110 prisons, in schools, in gang intervention, with veterans, with human trafficking victims and in refugee camps. AVP is working in many of the most violent places in the world with some of the most violent populations. We are in Colombia, Guatemala, Rwanda, Nepal, Indonesia, and Nigeria.
AVP is an experiential program that increases empathy, builds trust and community, and teaches conflict transformation. AVP transforms situations every where.
This basic workshop delivers skills that change lives - it is also the first step to become a facilitator in this program, and is a prerequisite to AVP's Trauma Recovery Advanced Workshop.
