To celebrate the anniversary of our 2019 ‘What Works’ conference, Epione Training & Consultancy is delighted to present Dr. Alisha Moreland-Capuia, leading international author, trauma expert, and thought leader on mobilising communities to respond to critical social needs.
This online special event will see Dr. Moreland-Capuia deliver an interactive keynote presentation with Q&A on Thursday 5th November 2020.
Building on the success of our inaugural international conference which brought together a highly-respected group of eminent practitioners, researchers and experiential experts alike, including a keynote presentation from Dr. Bruce D. Perry, our conference discussed one of the most pervasive public health issues of our time: adverse childhood experiences and childhood trauma; the purpose of which was to further create a trauma-responsive Scotland - the process of which is now clearly underway.
Since their conference, Epione have noted from their ongoing consultation work that a paradigm shift requires systems change, and so this is why we’re extremely excited to present the system-change research and work of Dr. AMC, who trained and worked with leaders of trauma informed Oregon. Her mission fully aligns with Epione, for like us, she has seen the seeds of transformation take root and grow within various organisations and their staff, moving beyond mere training to total transformation so that a trauma responsive culture and practice is embedded at every level of organisation.
We look forward to connecting with people around the world on the 5th November 2020.
