This year, more legislation has been filed to restrict the lives of trans people than at any other point in the nation’s history. Thus, deepening equity at our organizations must include an explicit commitment to equity and inclusion for Transgender staff and board. This includes our formal policies around recruitment, hiring, and benefits as well as our culture and practices.
This webinar will include both a Trans liberation movement perspective and an organizational development perspective as we explore:
- grounding in the movement to protect and advance the rights of Transgender people
- the policies and practices we can review and update in our organizations to promote equity and inclusion for Trans staff and board
- supporting and promoting Transgender leadership in our organizations and networks
