Trauma can have serious consequences for the normal development of a child’s brain, brain chemistry and nervous system.Childhood traumatic stress can be better understood when using a developmental framework. This session, participants will learn:

How traumatic stress affects the brain and development throughout childhood
Techniques to respond to children exhibiting challenging behaviors

Spanish Interpretation available, including Spanish material
