This training is intended to help people understand the principles and prevalence of trauma, understanding the importance of addressing trauma with everyone we serve and what the impact of doing this has on our own nervous systems. This training will also provide an introduction into what Trauma Informed Care is: why it’s important to institute, how to begin the practice of being trauma informed, and what impact this new practice has on individuals and society as a whole.
