Natl. Assn. for Children's for Behavioral Health is a think tank. Our meetings are known for confronting the controversial, conversing with leading experts, policy and decision makers, challenging assumptions and connecting with peers as collaborators for system change and the development of best practices. Performance improvement requires time, training, retraining, revisiting, validating, consistent learning, new learning and adapting.
For a decade now, this association has worked to facilitate large scale change within its membership and the wider children’s behavioral health field in a number of areas promoting trauma-informed service settings, including organizational culture, administrative and clinical changes, and reducing the use of restraint and seclusion.
