Connection Coalition (aka CoCo) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit founded in 2003 which offers yoga & meditation outreach programs throughout the country in schools, shelters, foster homes, rehabilitation centers, jails or through other non-profit organizations. As of 2019, CoCo has connected with over 20,000 youth and trained more than 4,000 volunteer teachers across the US!
CoCo is always seeking emerging leaders in existing and new markets who share our desire to collaborate with other youth organizations in order to bring access to yoga, meditation and mindfulness. Yoga teacher certification is NOT required to join our team for volunteer programming.
How you choose to translate the course content into purposeful action is entirely up to you. Some training participants are eager to get started with an outreach program in their local community. While others seek to gain additional mind-body resources which they can apply to their daily life as an educator, social worker, counselor, parent, etc.
