About this event
Networking is just coming together with our peers in a smaller intimate setting for support, brainstorming, training,sharing our work and getting feedback. This is important for all professions but defintely trauma informed yoga teachers as we learn what it means to be trauma informed on a personal and systemic level with one another.
Come learn about the best practices in trauma informed yoga and embodiment from internationally renowned practitioners Amanda Jane of the Self-Agency Academy (https://www.theselfagencyacademy.com) and Kaye Wilkinson of Legacy Motion.org (www.legacymotion.org).
Our Netowkring event will be 90-120 minutes in length and follows the below sequence:

Amanda Jane of the Self-Agency Advocate:
Born and raised in Canada, Amanda’s interest in Mental Health started while studying at college where she was able to open a mental health student support centre on campus. As Amanda’s curiosity for mental health developed, so did her interest in the practice and theory behind yoga. You could say this changed Amanda’s life, as it allowed her the space, tools, and knowledge to develop a new relationship with herself.
With Amanda’s years of experience in Business, Holistic Nutrition, Yoga, Mindfulness, & Neuroscience, she is able to combine her expertise and passion to facilitate an empowering space for personal transformation.
Amanda has run many workshops and trainings in the traditional and alternative healing spaces over the years combining her knowledge for business, holistic nutrition, yoga and more!
Now residing in the incredible New Zealand, Amanda runs Yin Yoga Teacher Trainings, Trauma-Informed and Mental Health Trainings both online and offline, as well as offering workshops, retreats, and 1:1 coaching for deep personal transformation.
