Trauma Responsive Care at School: Definitions, Impact and Interventions

Trauma-informed approaches to behavior challenges in school settings hosted by the Family Tree, MSDE, and the Kros Learning Group!

The Family Tree, in conjunction with the Kros Learning Group and the Maryland State Department of Education, is pleased to host Mr. Frank Kros, MSW, JD as he presents a 2-hour virtual workshop on trauma-informed approaches to behavior challenges in the school setting. During the Trauma-Responsive Care at School: Definitions, Impact, and Interventions workshop, participants will be introduced to trauma-responsive care practices in the school setting. A common definition of trauma will be provided, the specific impacts of traumatic experience on student behavior will be identified, and practical, effective interventions for educators will be shared.
