A VinYin class can offer the benefits that come with both a movement and stillness based class. The first part of every class will explore breath awareness as we move through a series of postures that link our breath and movement together.
The second part of class, our stillness or yin portion
will invite students to explore where tension might be held in the body and practice softening into their own personal level of relaxation while maintaining a yoga shape for as long as it serves the studentβs comfort.
Please Note:
Julieβs classes are structured to remind students that they are experts of their own bodies. While she offers suggestions, students are encouraged to listen to their own body and intuition over her suggestions at all points of the class.
