Trauma Sensitive Yoga Therapy with trauma survivor’s includes  people suffering from addiction, depression, anxiety, and PTSD. We will work on a range of simple practices from seated breathing to some gentle bending and twisting that will give the client a new set of coping skills to address feelings of being totally overwhelmed by sensation, disembodied, dissociated, powerless, and more. We will be working through gentle yoga designed for all abilities and bodies and no experience necessary!

Dr. Nimer has been conducting yoga group therapy for years. She is currently using the curriculum from the Trauma Center, Boston, MA for Trauma Sensitive Yoga.

Cost: Costs are covered by most insurance as group therapy. Or if you don’t have insurance the cost is $15 per session.
