Valley Meeting of Families [Salem, OR]

Valley Meeting of Families [Salem, OR]

LOVE! LIVE FULLY ALIVE.

The Premises:

Loving relationships are the cornerstone to living a life we love.

Toxic stress interferes with our ability to love God, family, friends, and neighbors.

Adverse childhood experiences and other trauma can cause us to be hypersensitive to stress.

Implementing Compassionate Communications, Imago, Sanctuary, and Strengthening Families Protective Factors in our own lives, our family life, and our parish/church community life can mitigate stress, build resilience, and help us to feel love.

A DAY OF INSPIRATION

for people of all faiths

Begin your day at 8:30 a.m. with a light breakfast, a rousing musical presentation, and an inspiring morning keynote speaker. Then, our panel of amazing presenters will fascinate you with brief overviews of their easy-to-use tools to help you strengthen your family, enrich your marriage, and engage fully in your parish or church community. Choose your favorite topic and panel presenter, and join them for more in-depth information in an afternoon workshop.

Between the panel presentation and the afternoon workshops, enjoy a box lunch and hear nationally acclaimed researcher and author Dr. Robert Anda discuss the profound health, social and economic risks that result from childhood trauma and what we as individuals, families, parishes, churches, and communities can do to heal our ourselves and our relationships, and protect our children from the lifelong effects of childhood trauma.
