Link proponents will "strut their mutts" to raise money for the Battered Women’s Shelter of Medina County, Ohio, on October 5 (National SAF-T Day). The 6th annual fundraiser, which involves the local SPCA, helps support 1,000 domestic violence survivors, raises awareness of The Link and recognizes that pets are family, too. The 2013 event will feature a Link presentation by Seth Kujat, Executive Director of the United Way of Medina County, plus a one-mile walk and dog costume events.
