Join me in this interactive parent to parent webinar to learn what you can do to keep your kids safe. You will learn:
  • What is Child Sexual Abuse, the signs and risks
  • How to empower kids by teaching them about boundaries with friends, family members and at school
  • The trouble with secrets
  • How to talk to your child about their bodies
  • How to create a family safety plan
  • What is grooming?
  • How to practice and keep it simple

We will not catch offenders abusing our kids unless we know what to look for. We have to catch them breaking the rules and overstepping boundaries. Understanding how offenders groom the community to gain access to our children is just as important as it is for us to educate our children.

80% of sexual abuse happens when a child is alone with an adult or older more powerful child (d2l.org). Eliminating or reducing one on one situations will significantly lower the risk of the risk of children being abused. Even with education, parents can not expect kids alone to be able to protect themselves from the grooming of an offender.

Parents need to get comfortable talking about child sexual abuse and engage other adults in their community!

This presentation will give you the tools and the confidence to start this important conversation with you kids and other adults in your community.  I can not tell you how many parents have told me that they wished they had attended a training like this sooner.
