Gael Strack, J.D., Co-founder of the Family Justice Center Movement, and Natalia Aguirre, Director of the Family Justice Center Alliance, will discuss what a Family Justice Center (FJC) is, how it works, guiding principles, core partners and services, how to get started, and how FJCs are holistically addressing the needs of survivors and their children.
The Family Justice Center Movement has been growing across the country and around the world. Today, there are over 100 Family Justice Centers and Multi-Agency models across the United States with many more in development. Family Justice Centers have demonstrated their positive impact on collaboration and coordination, increasing hope in the life of survivors and increasing access to services for survivors and their children.
