Workplace Stress? Real-world workplace action steps for wellness in this Virtual Cafe
Service to others is rewarding, but struggling to manage stress, sometimes traumatic stress, can be challenging for health, mental health, first responders, and other service providers when providing care to others.
Join us for a conversation about staff wellness and resiliency programming with Troy L. Brindle, Vice President of Refresh Mental Health, the nationβs largest provider of behavioral health services.
Presenters
About the Presenter:
Troy Brindle will share with us the remarkable virtual support group network for health care workers and other clinicians, which he designed in 2020 within Pennsylvania at the outbreak of the COVID pandemic, along with future planning to support behavioral health staff experiencing high levels of stress.
Brought to you by the PATF Secondary Traumatic Stress Workgroup
The Secondary Traumatic Stress Workgroup is collecting and sharing information about tools and strategies used by city departments, unions, and other employers that build wellness and resilience in our workforce and community and reduce the risk of traumatic stress. As we all navigate this phase of the COVID pandemic, and the heightened awareness of the longstanding simultaneous pandemic of racism, we bring you stories about steps employers are taking to create healthy and resilient workplaces. Join us for this new series of virtual cafes that can help now as we work to make 2021 better and to #TakeCarePHL.
