2nd Annual Child Abuse Prevention Conference presented by the The Child Protection Program and The Family Safe Zone©,  celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the Child Protection Program, and award ceremony to recognize Dr. Angelo P. Giardino, and his contribution to founding the Child Protection program. The goal of this conference is to present Child Abuse Prevention as a public health issue and to explore ways that practitioners can address Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and toxic stress in every day practice as a means of increasing community support and preventing child abuse and neglect. This is a multi-disciplinary conference targeted toward pediatric practitioners, mental and behavioral health providers, social workers, investigators, administrators and others involved in the care of children and families. Registration starts at 7:30 AM. Hosted by St. Christopher's Hospital for Children.
