We are planning informative and interesting dialogues on Military Women that will enable them to support themselves and their families.

We will discuss:

The importance of integrating trauma informed care into our day-to-day work.
The obstacles of reintegration to civilian life that homeless women veteran’s face and how the challenges of PTSD, MST, and co-occurring disorders relate and can make transitions into competitive employment difficult.
A new guide developed by the Women’s Bureau, entitled “Trauma-Informed Care for Women Veterans Experiencing Homelessness: A Guide for Service Providers
The Women’s Bureau will outline the resources within, and connected to, the Trauma Guide, which was created to address the mental health needs of women veterans.

We hope that you will join us to learn more about these issues and to share your thoughts with us.
