Learning about the nervous system through polyvagal theory/Window of Tolerance can give us an approacable and psychologically sound framework to help us navigate our inner world. When we pair this with a trauma sensitive yin yoga +mindfulness practice, we can create space for us to pause, put our minds inside of our bodies and discover new ways to belong to ourselves using.
This eight week series invites attendees to do 2 things:
1. Learn about a nervous system informed yin yoga practice.
2. Experience a trauma sensitive yin + mindfulness exercises they can use in their own life to support their ability to ground and self-soothe
Each week, we'll explore a different theme that both educates on the neurbiology of our nervous system and using yin shapes to support us in feeling supported, held and connected.
