This workshop presents basic information about trauma and helps children, teenagers, and adults create a future vision for themselves. In the first part of the workshop, participants learn about trauma and its potential effects. In the second section, they explore ways that they can create a future vision for themselves despite the trauma that they may have experienced. Participants imagine a future vision for themselves, their families, and their communities through guided art activities. They receive instruction about how to break a larger goal into smaller parts and are encouraged to identify action steps they can implement when working toward their goals. This workshop includes video content, guided art prompts, and group discussion.
