Welcome everyone who has recently joined our community.
With our name change from Atlantic Canada ACE and TIP Network to Canadian ACEs and TI Network we are attracting pan-Canadian participation.
Our intention here is to build community to advance the ACEs Awareness and Trauma Informed movement in Canada to position prevention and recovery at the top of our social priority list.
We achieve more by collaborating. We are only able to collaborate when we know each other and our strengths.
Therefore, we encourage all our members, new and existing, to introduce yourselves and tell us what you're doing in your communities in Canada.
We're building momentum. We're getting attention. When we are strong enough the political class will listen.
Scotland is transforming their society. They are only 5 million. We are only 37 million. The US Congress recently held hearings about ACEs and Trauma and the impact on individuals and society.
We can create #ACEsAwareCanada and #TraumaInformedCanada if we work together.
Thank you for joining us. We look forward to hearing what you're doing. Every little effort helps.
