The Virginia Rent Relief program is really trying to get the word out how it can provide rental assistance (and more) for households within 80% Area Median Income, and with rents within 150% of Fair Market Rent.

This program is helping a lot of people and the best news is – you DO NOT have to be behind on rent to be eligible! Also, anyone with a housing subsidy is automatically eligible for up to 18 months of assistance! We are sending this information out to our networks to share so it can be utilized.

The Virginia Rent Relief Program is an easy online application with just a few questions to answer. https://www.dhcd.virginia.gov/rmrp People can also access it by telephone – see the attached flyers in English and Spanish.
