I’m pleased to share the Burke Foundation’s Board of Trustees approved a five-year strategy to help grow and sustain a more diverse birthing workforce, including community-based doulas, midwives, and nurses for universal newborn home visiting. We believe growing the perinatal workforce is a critical approach to addressing the alarming racial disparities in maternal and infant health outcomes in New Jersey and across the country.
We are currently hiring for a Program Officer to skillfully manage a new portfolio of workforce initiatives, working as part of our highly collaborative team in Princeton and Trenton, New Jersey.
